Mrs Ellis is using her art to contribute to the Love Your Body campaign by doing a live paint at the St Lukes Body Shop this Saturday from 11am to 2pm. "It’s the perfect vehicle for celebrating your body, by painting on it. It’s a nice way to celebrate your body, whatever shape you are."The Sandringham resident, who runs party services company Rainbow Rascals, has been face painting for seven years and only got into body painting in the last couple of years.
She did face painting in Aotea Square for last year’s Love Your Body Day and now that the event has turned into a month-long campaign, she’s offered her services again. Mrs Ellis will paint curvy Grey Lynn woman Jennifer Brewer, who says she is excited about being a model for the day.
